In an Australian first, Sunday Sous Sessions harnesses up and coming talent from renowned Sydney hatted restaurants, giving Sous Chefs their chance to create a 5-course degustation with wine pairings for guests outside the realms of their workplace with no boundaries, just great food!
Each exclusive Sunday Sous Session event gives participating Sous Chefs the chance to express themselves, run a full restaurant and showcase their own signature creativity and style, all whilst doing something they love.
Sunday Sous Sessions highlights the people behind some of Sydney’s top restaurants, the unique and unprecedented talent of our hospitality industry, and encourage and promote growth of our Sous Chefs.

Our inaugural Sunday Sous Sessions season ran for four weeks during the month of September 2017 at the space most renowned as Mark Best’s restaurant Marque on Crown St in Surry Hills. Marque was best known for being a certified breeding ground for many of Sydney’s current Head Chefs and Mark Best one of the key mentors for Sydney’s culinary talent.
